Saturday, June 4.
From 4:30 to 10 p.m., attendees can experi-
ence a night of fun, dancing, food and crafts. Meanwhile, Hawai‘i Plantation Village’s gift shop, country store and historical exhibit will be open starting at 9 a.m.
Participating bon dance groups include ‘Ewa Fukushima Bon Dance Club, O‘ahu Hong- wangi Bon Dance Club, Wahiawā Hongwangi Mission Bon Dance Team, Waipahu Soto Mis- sion Bon Dance Class and more. There will also be special performances by Hikariyama Torao and Ryugen Taiko.
Free to attend, organizers encourage event- goers to bring their own chairs and/or mats, as seating is limited.
Parking will be free, too, and offered off-site at nearby properties including Hawai‘i Tech Academy and Waipahu Elementary School. A shuttle service will be provided at no cost.
