hristina Loo was looking for some answers and she wasn’t getting them. She had just had her third child and
“I just started to notice this ongoing pain, and it’s not really talked about very often,” Loo says.
The Kahalu‘u resident, who works full- time as an engineer, went searching for the solution to the issues she was having, specif- ically with her pelvic flfloor.
“I had a hard time fifinding somebody who was knowledgeable about this — even doc- tors that I was going to just (said) ‘take an Advil’,” she explains with a laugh.
“So it took a lot of research on my own and I (found) a pelvic flfloor physical therapist.”
Loo had never heard of such a specialist, but that therapist had the answer.
“Day one, she said to me, ‘You need to stop this exercise routine.’ It was a huge hit to me, because it was kind of the essence of who I was at the time,” she explains.
