hen it comes to the Wolf house- hold of Kailua, the family that “fixes” together definitely sticks
together.
The husband-and-wife team of Michel
“Mike” and Cristy Wolf own the long-estab- lished business called Mr. Tinker, specializ- ing in all kinds of repairs to homes, offices and more.
Mike moved to Hawaiʻi from Tucson, Ari- zona in the early 1980s, while Cristy arrived from California in 1996.
“We have been here a long time and have fully assimilated into the island lifestyle,” Cristy shares.
Meanwhile, their 22-year-old son Lucas, “grew up in our Windward Oʻahu Voice ads (Islander back then) because one of our slo- gans through the years was ‘My dad can fix anything,’ and we updated the ad photo of father and son as he grew,” Cristy explains.
Customers loved it and the paper featured a retrospective when Lucas reached adult- hood and became a team member, she adds.
