   Youth Say Menthol Matters
 Windward Oʻahu youth joined others statewide in tackling tobacco during a statewide March Against Menthol sign-waving on March 7, to raise awareness about the destructive effects of marketing menthol ciga- rettes to young people.
 The Coalition for a To- bacco-Free Hawaiʻi Youth Council, a program of Ha- waiʻi Public Health Insti- tute, held the event, which launched a month of related activities.
“The tobacco industry has a history of marketing men- thol cigarettes to youth and vulnerable groups,” states Nikkya Taliaferro, one of the organizers of the Hawaiʻi for Black Lives movement.
