MINI of Hawai‘i opened in 2002 as part of the first wave of MINI dealers gaining traction in the United States. The MINI brand is owned by BMW and the two iconic automobile com- panies shared BMW’s Kapi‘olani Boulevard location until 2017, when MINI relocated to its current standalone facility on Ala Moana Boulevard. BMW and MINI of Hawai‘i oper- ate BMW of Honolulu, BMW of Maui, BMW of Hawai‘i on Hawai‘i Island, and employees and car enthusiasts alike are anticipating the new location along Farrington Highway.

BMW has been awarded “Center of Ex- cellence,” BMW’s highest dealership honor, a total of nine times and is consistently the top selling European manufacturer in Hawai‘i. The operation employs just over 200 local employees and services more than 20,000 customers per year.
