“We know everyone looks forward to our Aloun Farms’ Annual Pumpkin Festival, so it’s unfortunate that we had to cancel our highly anticipated fall event again this year,” states Alec Sou, president and gen- eral manager. “But the safety of our staff, volunteers and community is our highest priority, which is why we are offering new ways to enjoy and take advantage of our pumpkin season, now that restrictions have slightly eased.”
Masks and social distancing are re- quired, and all staff members working the event are fully vaccinated.

From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 23-24, the public can head to its ‘Ewa pumpkin field, where they can pick and clip their own pumpkin straight off the vine, which in- clude giant pumpkins (35-100 pounds) that cost $50 each. A minimum purchase of one pumpkin is required to access the field.
“We appreciate everyone’s understand- ing and support in our decision to cancel this year’s Pumpkin Festival, but hope you can join us out in our pumpkin field or take advantage of our produce pick up this month,” adds Sou.
