yle and Sean Luster were both vale- dictorians at Pearl City High School who have turned their early years of
exploring music in their garage to a career of performing at packed shows as the Red Light Challenge band.
The brothers relocated to Boise, Idaho, to attend college — Kyle at Boise State Uni- versity to pursue his bachelor’s degree in business and Sean, who is five years older, at Boise State to earn his MBA.
“Moving to Boise allowed both of us to continue our musical journey, and around this time we decided we wanted to make music our career,” the brothers recollect.
While still attending college, they began regularly singing while playing acoustic guitars at farmers markets in downtown Boise.
“We would show up before the markets started to claim a good spot, and we would do everything we could to bring lots of ener- gy,” they remember. “As we started to make friends in the music and event scene, we
