started getting more oppor- tunities to perform and we haven’t looked back!”
Since moving to Boise, the brothers have released multiple music videos and established a social media presence on TikTok, Ins- tagram and YouTube with their fun-loving vibe. They have also written and re- corded songs for film and TV placements from their home studio.
Their music is self-de- scribed as high-energy, harmony-filled dance rock. Fan favorites include Out Tonight from that debut al- bum, which is “all about a guy wanting to go out with a girl who only wants to dance even though the guy can’t dance,” the brothers describe.
They partnered with the National Kidney Foundation of Hawai‘i in 2015. As part of that collaboration, they co-wrote the song for the foundation’s documentary, organized an elementary school assembly and volun- teered for a music learning program at the “Keiki Kid- ney Camp” for children suf- fering from kidney disease.
While they don’t have any Hawai‘i shows sched- uled yet, they would love to perform at the new Aloha Stadium one day and remain grateful for their childhood.
Red Light Challenge made history by being the first band from Hawai‘i to earn a Los Angeles Music Award in November 2014. They were presented with the “Hot Adult Contem- porary Artist of the Year” award for their touring and DIY recordings.

“Hawai‘i is where we learned our first guitar chords, performed in public for the first time and even were introduced to The Beatles,” they say.
