uring his time serving in the mil- itary, which included 24 years as a U.S. Marine infantry officer, Lt. Col.
Ian Brooks developed a deep appreciation for O‘ahu’s lush, green Windward side.
“As someone who grew up in a busy city, I just loved Hawai‘i and the laidback vibe you get from this side of the island,” Brooks says.
In what has become a labor of love in a place he loves, Brooks and fellow U.S. Marine Corps veteran Lt. Col. Eric Dill launched a spirit distillery venture after dedicating their lives to serving the country. More than two decades after meeting and becoming friends in 2002, the business part- nership is thriving as Dill’s distillery concept has blended smoothly with Brooks’ business plan.
