Iam a confessed foodie. I call myself a spiritual foodie because I abso- lutely love all kinds of food. You know, food that feeds the soul as well as food that feeds the body. I search for sustenance from both kinds of food.

It’s Time To Ponder The Power Of Food
has been referenced from the beginning of time — Eve ate the forbidden fruit. In the kumulipo, the Ha- waiian creation chant, Ha- waiians trace their lineage back to kalo, or taro, which is food. These unique and diverse histories that incor- porate food are found in every culture of the world. Think about that for a min- ute. Wow!

BODY BOOST BOWL
Ingredients
1 frozen banana
1 fresh banana
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon powdered
dragon fruit, or 1/2 cup frozen dragon fruit
1/2 cup organic wild blueberries
1/4 cup dried white mul- berries
Directions
Cut up the fresh banana and put it in a bowl. Blend cut up frozen banana with 1⁄2 cup of water and dragon fruit. Pour the liquid over the fresh banana. Top with blueberries and mulberries.
Sometimes I spend 16 hours a day preparing food, tasting it and talking about it. I’ m referring to both kinds of food. The possibil- ities of what to create con- tinually fascinates me.
When I make something my mom and grandma used to make, I feel them close to me. Food has the pow- er to overcome death by keeping love alive. Food creates memories that last a lifetime. Food is medicine. Food has the power to con- vey inspirational messages when we are open to listen- ing. Food is a manifestation
