Health Center.
The center, which saw its first patient
in 1992, is “committed to providing the highest level of primary and preventative health services, with special attention to the needs of Native Hawaiians and the medically underserved, and improving the health and wellness of individuals and their ‘ohana regardless of their ability to pay,” according to its mission statement.
The health center provides comprehen- sive medical services for the community, including health screenings and physical exams, pediatrics, diabetes management support, medication management, tobacco cessation support, dental, vision, behavior- al health, nutrition education and Native Hawaiian healing.
Walk-in patients are welcome, as are most private insurance plans.
