n Aug. 26-28, volunteer, off-duty law enforcement officers will be taking community service to new
heights, as they raise money for Special Olympics Hawai‘i while perched atop 10-foot scaffolds and rooftops across the state.
“This year, Cop on Top celebrates a milestone two decades of supporting our Special Olympics Hawai‘i athletes,” states Dan Epstein, Special Olympics Ha- wai‘i president and CEO. “We invite the public to come out and show their support for these dedicated officers who generous- ly give of their free time to raise funds and awareness for our programs.”
On the Westside, find the officers at the Walmarts in Kapolei and Kunia. Do- nations collected will directly benefit Special Olympics Hawai‘i and its work to provide year-round sports, health and wellness programs for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
