Farm Holds ‘Sweet’ Summer Festival

or over 20 years, Aloun Farms has been known for its highly anticipated annual Pumpkin Festival and Educa-
tional Pumpkin Tours, but the COVID-19 pandemic put fun events on the farm to a halt.
After not hosting a festival for over two years, Aloun Farms, along with sponsors Hawaiian Electric and Meadow Gold Ha- wai‘i, are welcoming the community back to the Aloun Farms pavilion for its first-ever family-friendly summer festival — the ‘Ewa Sweet Festival — from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 25-26.
“Our ‘Ewa Sweet Festival will be the one- stop shop for family fun this summer,” says Michael Moefu, Aloun Farms’ community outreach director. “Attendees can enjoy great local food and entertainment, family-friend- ly outdoor activities, and the freshest afford- able produce to stock up for summer gath- erings, including Fourth of July weekend.”
