As of now, SB 2821 has al- ready been sent to the gover- nor. This bill requires the state Department of Education to provide free menstrual prod- ucts to public school students. Like this bill, there are many others that affects us all one way or another. It’s my duty to uphold, as an elected official, to see that Hawai‘i is taken care of, not just for this gen- eration, but the generations to come.
