West O‘ahu Schools Receive Financial Boost From A&B

This annual fundraising initiative raises money for Hawai‘i public schools in communities near A&B shopping centers.
“This year, over 1,400 receipts were collected and converted into mone- tary awards for our partner schools to fund their educa- tional priorities and enrich- ment programs.”
In its second year, A&B’s Kōkua for Keiki initiative partnered 16 public schools with eight A&B shopping centers on O‘ahu and Ha- wai‘i Island. The program ran for two months, from December 2021 through January 2022, capturing the
Kōkua for Keiki funds augment A&B’s annual Kokua Giving charatible program, which donated $977,000 in 2021 to support 175 nonprofit organizations across the state.
“Kōkua for Keiki encour- ages shoppers and diners to support schools in their neighborhood communi- ties,” states Kit Millan, se- nior vice president of asset management at A&B.
