Unlike big-box warehouses, locally owned BIKEFACTORY — which has locations in Kaka‘ako, Waipi‘o and soon Kapolei — prides itself on being able to offer a personalized ex- perience to its customers by answering ques- tions and working with them to find (or create)
the perfect fit.
“We’re just small guys, we’re not some big
huge company that brings in containers all day long,” says owner Mitch Parcels, who inherited the company from his late father, Wally. “Our way of doing business is really ‘What can we do to benefit the customer?’ If we benefit the customer, then the customer is not only going to come back, but they’re going to send their friends. That’s what’s behind the old-school type of business.
