8 MIDWEEK OCTOBER 12, 2022
Dear Darah,
My name is Timo- thy Dean Lee, and I live on Kaua‘i. When I come to Honolulu, it is for medical reason. I was born with cere- bral palsy and epilepsy.
quite a different situation. I had walked from my friend’s apartment on Birch Street over to Hawaiian Graphics and bought some much-need- ed art supplies. (Unfortunate- ly we don’t have any art sup- ply stores on Kaua‘i.)
was on the phone with EMS, the man in the driver’s seat picked me up off the road and got me safely to the sidewalk. He then rushed back to their truck, bringing me Band-Aids and a bottle of water.
don’t know the names of this couple but I wanted to thank them. My hope is that you can print this letter and may- be that beautiful couple will see how much their kindness meant to me. Mahalo, maha- lo, mahalo.

Mahalo nui to these two angels.

The woman in the pas- senger side jumped out of the car, rushed to my side and motioned to prevent the traffic from starting. As she
