the past six decades.
The course’s central location along Ka-
onohi Street in ‘Aiea above Pearlridge Center offers memorable panoramic views, a challenging 18-hole layout along with a driving range, chipping area and putting green, ‘ono food and a friendly, knowledge- able staff. It truly is a gathering place for the local community, whether one is an avid golfer, or looking to host an outing or spe- cial event.
According to Pearl Country Club gener- al manager Ed Kageyama, PGA, the coun- try club originally opened in 1967 and had been leased from Kamehameha Schools for the last 45 years by Soishiro Honda, the founder of Honda Motors. In late 2020, the ground lease expired and Kamehameha Schools regained control of Pearl Country Club.
