‘Aiea, Hālawa and Pearl City, coordinated a digital and basic skills class on Oct. 2 at ‘Aiea Public Library. Each of the 10 participants received a complimentary refurbished laptop computer after completing the three- hour session. Kaʻala Souza, part of the team at the state’s Workforce Development Council, was the basic com- puter class instructor for the event. Besides sponsoring the class, Misalucha intro- duced Senate Resolution 49 during the 2021 state legis- lative session. It passed in the Senate and was signed into law by Gov. David Ige in June. It proclaimed Oct. 4-8 to be Digital Inclusion
