lthough this past year has been one of uncertainty for many across the globe, Ho‘ala School on California
Avenue in Wahiawā has successfully maneu- vered through it and come out on top.
The private school for students in kinder- garten through eighth grade and its families first tackled online virtual learning, then blended learning models, and finally in-per- son classes, explains director of marketing and admissions Darlene Dela Cruz.
“Every day, parents, students and teach- ers were also filled with certainty that while students are here, they are learning, they are heard, and they are cared for in a safe and stimulating environment,” Dela Cruz adds. “Students, parents and teachers have learned as they navigated the ups and downs of a pandemic, they’ve created new opportuni- ties to care for and nurture one another, to be more flexible, and to be extremely resilient.”
