  He recognizes that it takes longer than 30 to 90 days to change an unhealthy habit that has been overtak- ing lives for years.
If a resident falls short of these expectations, they are required to inform the staff immediately. For example, if they forget to lock their belongings or are late to work, they take responsi- bility for their mistake and work with the staff to en- sure that it does not happen again. This requirement not only teaches accountability but also honesty.
Edginton adds, “We aim to change character at a core level.”
