Why Buy a Button?
Your button donation helps raise funds for projects which include landscaping and maintenance of Alala Point (Lanikai), the traffic triangles at either end of Kalaheo Avenue, and the entrance median coming into Kailua Town. We also spearheaded recent tree plantings along Oneawa Street, and provided trees for an Arbor Day Tree giveaway in Kailua last fall.
Currently, Lani-Kailua Outdoor Circle is fundraising for a proposed tree planting project to provide shade trees along our more under-canopied thoroughfares such as Keolu Drive.
The dedicated volunteers of the Lani-Kailua Outdoor Circle have been a part of our Windward community since 1948 and continue to play a vital role in making Kailua more beautiful through their landscaping projects. Your button donation makes you a vital contributor in keeping Kailua Clean, Green and Beautiful!
This year, our Town Party design
is a lovely painting depicting a view of Mokapu Point from Kailua Beach.
The artist, Linh Tang, is graciously donating her original 18”x24” oil painting to us, which will be given away during the event, at center stage at 2:30 pm.
To enter to win, fill out your button backing card and drop it off at any of our LKOC script and button booths at the event.
