Windward Women Receive Educational Scholarship Awards
The Windward O‘ahu branch of AAUW, formerly known as American Associ- ation of University Women, has announced 14 scholar- ship recipients for the up- coming academic year.

This year, all participants are also being recognized for their ongoing pursuit of edu- cation over the past two years in the face of COVID-19 and employment limitations.
Pursuing the field of social work at University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa are Stacey Dawn Goodhue-Souza-Kaululaau of Kāne‘ohe, Alisha Kaluhio- kalani of Kailua, Shyla-Ann Keaunui of Waimānalo, and Caesare Santiago of Kailua. Dustee Kahale of Kailua is also at UH Mānoa studying psychology.
Meanwhile, attending UH – West O‘ahu are Czari- na Salas of Kailua studying public administration, and Briana Sedeno of Kāne‘ohe pursuing creative media.
