Kailua Concert For Ukraine Is June 18

awai‘i Vocal Arts Ensemble and Masterworks Chorus will hold a Concert for Ukraine at 7:30 p.m.
June 18 at St. John Lutheran Church in Kailua (1004 Kailua Road).
It will be led by artistic director Timothy Carney, and will include guest artist and baritone vocalist Leon Williams.
The event will feature the performances of 60 singers and instrumentalists.
It will focus on music for peace and healing by Mozart, Bach, Ola Gjeilo, Israel Kamakawiwo‘ole, Rodgers and Hammer- stein, and more.
All proceeds will be donated to Ukraine relief. Recipient organizations include CARE, Save the Children, International Rescue Committee and Lutheran World Relief.
A second concert will also be held at 4 p.m. June 19 at Lutheran Church of Hono- lulu on Punahou Street.
