     The state Department of Education recently released its 2022-23 enrollment figures, which in- cluded a list of the five larg- est elementary, middle and high schools in the state. As an ever-growing communi- ty, it’s no surprise that West O‘ahu schools, specifically those in ‘Ewa Beach, were among the most populated. The largest high school in the state, with 3,039 students, is Campbell High. Waipahu High is right behind it with 2,661 students. ‘Ewa Makai Middle (1,119) and Waipahu Intermediate (1,084), mean- while, took the No. 2 and No. 3 spots, respectively, for the middle school division.
