Fans went berserk when it was announced Jon Bernthal will return as Frank Castle, aka the Punisher, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Netflflix cancelled The Punisher in 2019 when its part- nership with Marvel ended. Look out for the antihero in Daredevil: Born Again, an 18-episode series centered around a blind vigilante played by this Brit who can also be found on Broadway.
Detective dramas are having their moment. Poker Face, streaming on Peacock, stars Natasha Lyonne as an eccentric sleuth with an uncanny ability to detect lying. Instead of ending episodes on cliffffhangers (to encourage binging) each episode is a complete story within itself — a throwback
to old-school network shows. Speaking of throwbacks, HBO Max is now streaming season two of
its Perry Mason reboot starring this actor, known for his role in The Americans, as the title character.
Patricia Heaton — who is known for her roles in sitcoms like Everybody Loves Ray-
mond and The Middle — is moving back into movies with the psychological thriller The Beldham. Her co-star Corbin Bernsen has an upcoming HBO miniseries, White House Plumbers, with Lena Headey, Domhnall Gleeson, Justin Theroux and this well-known actor,
whose breakout role came as a bartender on the TV sitcom Cheers.
Psychological horror-thriller Us released four years ago today (March 22). The film revolves around a family vacationing at a beach house when they suddenly encounter a group of doppel- gängers and must fight for their lives. Written and directed by Jordan Peele, the movie is his second feature film after his Comedy Central TV show Key & Peele with co-star Keegan-Michael Key. What was his first movie?
