Donation Strengthens Local Families
7-Eleven Hawai‘i has donated more than $56,000 to Help, Understanding & Group Support (HUGS) on behalf of its vendors, partners and customers. These funds will support HUGS’s mission to strengthen Hawai‘i’s families as they face the emotional and financial hardships of caring for a seriously ill child. Grant Supports Initiative To End Hunger
Nareit Hawai‘i presented The Salvation Army with a grant of $25,000 to support its “Love Beyond Thanksgiving” initiative to help feed families, children and the elderly on O‘ahu. The Salvation Army reports that demand for food by the public in response to hunger has increased 50% since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
