Mark Tagawa is an architecture principal to G70’s management. His cadre of expertise includes health care, higher education, corporate interiors and multifamily residential projects. His portfolio embraces appropriate risk-taking and seeks clarity and rigor through design. He has worked on projects in Hawai‘i, on the mainland and in Asia and the Middle East.
Kukui Claydon joins Ronald McDonald House Charities Hawai‘i’s board of directors. An attorney at law firm Starn, O’Toole, Marcus & Fisher, she is a part of about a dozen other community leaders and business professionals who help guide RMHC Hawai‘i’s mission of improving the lives of children with serious health conditions in Hawai‘i and the Pacific.
Steve Li is executive director and corporate counsel for Hawaiian Native Corp. and has been appointed to the board of the Native Hawaiian Organizations Association. He will serve as a member of the board’s legislative committee, advocating for NHOA in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining NHOA, Li was state director for U.S. Rep. Kai Kahele.

Dr. Lee Buenconsejo-Lum is acting dean of University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa’s John A. Burns School of Medicine. She served as associate dean for academic affairs at JABSOM for the past three years, providing critical service to the university and the state during the pandemic. Buenconsejo-Lum has been with JABSOM since 1997, and is well versed in its operations.
Jason Thune has been named vice president of fiber strategy and deployment for Hawaiian Telcom. He began his career with the company as a summer intern in 1998. Over the past nearly 25 years, he has held key leadership roles in different areas. He will continue to manage the planning and construction of Hawaiian Telcom’s statewide fiber expansion.
Maureen Puanani Lichter has been appointed vice president and sales and products manager at Territorial Savings Bank’s corporate office. She will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing branch sales promotions, deposit products and related services. Lichter has more than 30 years of experience in Hawai‘i’s banking industry.
