Credit Union Helping To Feed Hawai‘i
As a result of its company-wide food drive, Hawai‘i State Federal Credit Union donated $18,000 and more than a ton of food to local food banks on O‘ahu ($12,500 and 2,800 pounds of food) and Maui ($5,500 and 625 pounds of food). Grant Drives Up Support For Hospital
Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children received a $100,000 Hyundai Impact Award Grant from Hyundai Hope On Wheels, a nonprofit supported by Hyundai and its U.S. dealers. The donation will benefit Kapi‘olani’s comprehensive bone marrow transplant program, which plays an important role in pediatric cancer care and is the only program of its kind in the state.
