Donation Honors Bank’s 70th Anniversary
Finance Factors Family of Cos. donated $7,100 to local food banks on O‘ahu and Maui, and monies raised were a result of its 2022 companywide fundraiser. The organization set a goal of raising $7,000 in honor of its 70th anniversary this year. Funds Expand Services For UH Programs
Alaka‘ina Foundation, a Native Hawaiian organization based in Honolulu, is building upon and expanding its extensive philanthropic investments in University of Hawai‘i programs and students with gifts totaling $660,000. The donations include funds for two programs on Kaua‘i that Alaka‘ina has supported in years past, the Kaua‘i Community College digital bus program, and scholarships for Kaua‘i Community College students transferring to the UH Mānoa College of Engineering, as well as students enrolled in Kaua‘i CC’s electronics technology program.
