A fifilm version of the 1980s ABC series The Fall Guy is shaping up to be a $100 million project starring Ryan Gosling as Colt Seavers, the Hollywood stuntman by day and bounty hunter by night. The original show was popular enough to inspire a Fall Guy board game, a comic strip and a British video game. Originally in talks to star in the fifilm version back in 2013 was this entertainer with
ties to Hawai‘i.
Dune won six Academy Awards this year, so it’s no surprise that the sequel is already in the works. It’ll bring back Timothée Chalamet as the lead with support from Zendaya, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin and Dave Bautista. New to the cast is this California-born actor who’s expected to win countless awards next season for his critically acclaimed performance in Elvis.
In surprising news, DC film Batgirl will not be releasing on HBO Max this year. Although
the movie has already completed shooting, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav has decided to prioritize cost-cutting measures and refocus on creating theatrical films. Had the movie released as planned, audiences would’ve seen Leslie Grace as Barbara Gordon/
Batgirl and Michael Keaton back as Batman. The villain Firefly is played by this actor who’s starred in various films including George of the Jungle and The Mummy trilogy.
Ten years ago today in 2012, The Bourne Legacy was the top-grossing movie at the box office. It was the fourth in the Bourne action series and the first without Matt Damon as the title character. The plot centered instead on Jeremy Renner as agent Aaron Cross. But, Damon was back on top in 2013 as the star of this sci-fi movie in which only the poorest remain on Earth.

Not much is known about this day, probably because the folks who came up with it were too lazy to go into detail. “Lazy” has such a negative connotation, though. Instead, think “relaxation.” If you’re busy at work or frustrated with a problem, take a moment to focus on something else. After all, the best solutions often come when you least expect them.
