Creating some buzz is Hulu’s Fresh, a genre-bending film about modern dating with quite the horrifying spin. It stars Sebastian Stan, who’s best known for playing Captain America’s buddy Bucky Barnes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and this 23-year-old starlet who has garnered award nominations for being a “normal” person on another Hulu original.
Steven Spielberg has completed directing his film, The Fabelmans, that he wrote with his West Side Story screen collaborator Tony Kushner. Opening Thanksgiving week, it’s a semi-autobiogra- phy based on Spielberg’s childhood in Arizona. The film stars Michelle Williams, Paul Dano and this actor who appeared in the comedy Pineapple Express and many others.
Michael B. Jordan and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II are teaming up to produce I Helped Destroy People. The dramatic thriller adapts a 2021 New York Times article that involved the FBI,
a whistleblower, and racial and religious profiling. Abdul-Mateen II can also be seen in Ambulance, which hits theaters in April and features this actor who portrayed Mysterio in
Spider-Man: Far From Home.
The Matrix released 23 years ago and starred Keanu Reeves as Neo in this science fiction action film written and directed by the Wachowskis. He is first introduced to the matrix by Morpheus, an elusive figure considered to be the most dangerous man alive, played by this American actor and producer.
