Elton Kinoshita has been appointed principal for Hawai‘i Baptist Academy. Previously, he served as principal at Lāna‘i High and Elementary (K-12) School, and worked as a teacher and vice principal at James Campbell High School in ‘Ewa, where he led a career academy program. In addition, before entering the educational realm, Kinoshita was president of Living Stones Brew.
Maile Miller is director for Starn O’Toole Marcus & Fisher. She practices in the areas of commercial and environmental litigation, as well as land use and zoning law. Miller represents corporate and public entity clients, ranging from Hawai‘i companies and Fortune 500 firms to international manufacturing companies. She was selected to Hawai‘i Super Lawyers “Rising Star” List in the area of business litigation.
Mark Inouye is director of government and public affairs for Par Hawai‘i. In his position, Inouye oversees all aspects of government affairs, employee communications, media and public relations, corporate philanthropy, and community outreach. He will work with the company’s executive leadership team, government officials and community groups to shape public policy at the state and county levels.

Melissa Totherow is the new life enrichment director of independent living at Kāhala Nui. She will create and organize activities designed to enhance and promote residents’ physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual wellness. Previously, Totherow was owner and operator of Your Family Matters LLC. She holds a degree in business administration from Parks College in Denver, Colorado.
John Fullmer is president of Mason Architects Inc. With more than 30 years of experience, he is responsible for managing the largest and most complex projects. Fullmer’s duties include design, preparation of construction documents, specification writing, contract administration and report writing. He joined the firm in 1992 and became partner in 2004.
Puanani Hardwick is director of training and development at Locations. In this role, Hardwick will lead Locations’ sales training programs to ensure maximum effectiveness of its sales force. She is a recipient of the 2020 Aloha ‘Āina REALTOR Award. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science from University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, and is a certified business and life coach.
