Tanya David is an associate at Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel in the real estate/business department. David will be working in the areas of real estate, corporate transactions and captive insurance law. She will be working primarily with Japanese companies and individual Japanese investors. David received her law degree from University of California Hastings College of the Law.
Nicholas Kabetso has been appointed as food and beverage director with Hilton Hawaiian Village. In his new role, Kabetso will be responsible for enhancing employee engagement, improving guest service, and meeting the food and beverage department’s financial performance goals. Kabetso previously served as assistant director of food and beverage for several years at the resort.
Arushi Kumar has been named city auditor for the City & County of Honolulu. Kumar brings extensive experience to the role from her work in the U.S. Government Accountability Office in Seattle, Washington, as senior federal auditor in health care. She received her master’s in public policy and undergraduate degree in economics from University of Virginia.

En Young has been appointed as executive director at Pacific Gateway Center. Young brings to the position years of experience from nonprofit, government and for-profit sectors, and his career has been dedicated to public service and innovation. He previously served as executive director of The Food Basket on Hawai‘i Island and most recently as deputy director of the City & County of Honolulu’s Office of Economic Revitalization.
Adoniss Spencer is assistant director for Honolulu Community Action Program’s Head Start initiative. She will assist in the planning, development and evaluation of all HCAP Head Start components, as well as oversee program quality assurance. She received a Master of Education in administration and supervision from Liberty University, and a Bachelor of Arts in early childhood education from Ashford University.
Noah Idechong has been named executive director of The Nature Conservancy’s Micronesia and Polynesia chapters. Idechong has served as The Nature Conservancy Micronesia’s interim director for the last several months and has been senior adviser for The Nature Conservancy’s large-scale fisheries management since 2015. He is the founding executive director of the Palau Conservation Society.
