Paige Heckathorn Choy has been promoted to associate vice president, government affairs with Healthcare Association of Hawai‘i. She will continue to oversee HAH’s local, state and federal policy initiatives and will take on new responsibility in leading its overall post-acute care efforts. Heckathorn Choy is a graduate of Boston College and American University.
Phong Lam is an architectural designer at InForm Design. He graduated from University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa with a degree in environmental design and an Urban Plan Award. Lam then went on to complete an internship at Ong & Ong in Vietnam, where he discovered his passion for sustainable architecture embedded in cultural context.
Sandra Fujiyama is executive director of the Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship at University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa’s Shidler College of Business. She will spearhead community outreach efforts, along with the board of directors and corporate partners, to elevate and promote entrepreneurship education, as well as oversee the more than 20 PACE programs.

Barron Oda is general counsel at Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum. He will play an integral role in moving forward its mission-supporting initiatives. Previously, Barron was a litigator with Roeca Luria Shin LLP. He has lectured for Harvard Extension School’s Graduate Museology Program, Seton Hall University’s Institute of Museum Ethics, and Hawai‘i Pacific University.
Selina Eshleman is corporate director of human resources at Prince Resorts Hawai‘i. She will be managing and coordinating the HR departments for Prince Waikīkī Hotel, as well as other locations on Hawai‘i Island. Eshleman brings more than 10 years of professional and management experience working in a variety of industries to the role.
Boyd Kauhane is a senior business development underwriter for Zephyr Insurance Co. Inc. He will develop and maintain effective business relationships to increase retention and sales, and will review applications, endorsements, and renewals consistent with company guidelines, underwriting rules and rating procedures.
