Jaysen Hoopai
Age 29, 5 feet 10, 210 pounds, black hair and brown eyes. Hoopai has four prior convictions and is known to frequent the Honolulu area.
Hoopai is wanted for a $20,000 bench warrant for failure to appear for arraignment and plea hearing on Nov. 18.
At about 3:43 p.m. May 14, a witness observed an unknown male break into a vehicle that was parked in a storage lot in the Waiakamilo area.
The male then removed an item from within the vehicle and, when the witness confronted the male, he fled. Police were notified and through the investigation the suspect was identified as Hoopai. He was later located and placed under arrest for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle in the first degree.
Julie Ake
Age 42, 5 feet 3, 150 pounds, black hair and brown eyes. Ake has four prior convictions and frequents the ‘Ewa Beach area.
Ake is wanted for a $20,000 cash-only bench warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of her probation.
At about 11:20 a.m. May 12, 2013, a female entered the Waikīkī Freaky Tiki Tropical Optical store and selected a pair of Gucci sunglasses, valued at $325. The female then left the store without making payment. Police were notified and through the inves- tigation, the female was identified as Ake. She was later located and placed under arrest for second-de- gree theft.
Candace Tagata, featured here Aug. 25, was arrested at approximately 10:53 a.m. Nov. 10 at 2906 Ka‘ihikapu St. for her $20,000 contempt warrant.
Daniel Cruz, featured here Aug. 18, was arrested at approximately 10:40 p.m. Nov. 10 at Farrington Highway/ Keliikipi Street for his $20,000 probation revocation warrant.
