A remake of the 1961 classic West Side Story debuts Dec. 10. Directed by Steven Spielberg, the romantic/drama musical stars newcomer Rachel Zegler as Maria and Ansel Elgort (Baby Driver, The Fault in Our Stars) as Tony. Meanwhile, Velma is played by actress/dancer Maddie Ziegler,
who is most recognizable from her work with this Australian singer who rarely shows her face.
Wanting her day in court is Lisa Rinna, former star of Days of Our Lives, Melrose Place and currently The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. A photo agency is suing Rinna for $1.2 million for posting eight photos of herself with her two adult daughters on her own Instagram page. The agency is suing because, “Once a photograph is posted, People Magazine or US Weekly are less likely to buy it.” Rinn

The upcoming film Wicked, based on the musical that was adapted from the Gregory McGuire novel, recently announced its two leads. Directed by Jon Chu (Crazy Rich Asians, In The Heights), the movie has cast Grammy- and Tony Award-winner Cynthia Erivo (The Color Purple, Harriet) as Elphaba and this Victorious singer/actor as Glinda.
When the Rocky franchise spinoff Creed II hit theaters three years ago this week, it revived one of sports dra- ma’s best-known storylines: Rocky Balboa versus Ivan Drago. Having long since retired from the ring, Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) and Drago (Dolph Lundgren) cross paths again when Drago’s son, Viktor, is pitted against boxing champion Adonis“Donnie”Creed (Michael B. Jordan), who’s coached by Balboa. In the movie, there’s a callback to Drago’s famous line in Rocky IV: “I must break you.” What does Drago say this time?
