Luna is a 5-year-old pit bull mix brought to Hawaiian Humane Society when her former owners were unable to continue her care. She is an energetic and fun-loving lady who loves to be around people. Luna has lived around adults and young children, and she loves to be the center of attention. With Luna’s selectivity of other animals, she should be the only pet in the home.
Luna is heartworm positive and is currently being treated by the team at Hawaiian Humane Society. We will continue with the remaining treatment needed and work with her new family to make sure it is complete. Since Luna is such a spunky and energetic dog, she must be limited to short walks and minimal exercise while she finishes her treatment process.
