In October, Lady Gaga returned to the Park MGM stage after a nearly two-year hiatus from her Las Vegas residency. During that time, the artist recorded and released her second and final album with friend Tony Bennett, titled Love for Sale, and filmed House of Gucci. Playing her
husband is this actor, who knows a thing or two about telling a marriage story.
Daniel Craig’s fifth and final James Bond film, No Time to Die, opened Oct. 8. Craig, however, has al- ready moved on from playing 007. His character, detective Benoit Blanc, has been retained for Knives Out 2. It features a supporting cast that includes Edward Norton, Katherine Hahn and this actor, who plays Glossu Rabban in the new Dune movie released last month on HBO Max and in theaters.
Get ready to see a lot of Stanley Tucci. He was recently tapped to play Clive Davis in the Whitney Houson biopic, I Want to Dance with Somebody, and his Emmy-winning CNN show, Searching for Italy, has just been renewed for season two. Up soon for Tucci is The
King’s Man, which opens in theaters Dec. 22. Perhaps he’ll catch the movie with his wife Felicity, sister of this actor, who he worked with in The Devil Wears Prada.
The movie Shallow Hal — a romantic comedy about a superficial man named Hal (Jack Black) who’s unknowingly hypnotized into seeing the inner beauty of others — hit theaters 20 years ago this week. Among those whom Hal opens his eyes to are love interest Rosemary (Gwyneth Paltrow) and a Peace Corps’ character named Li‘i Boy, played by this Hawai‘i native who was discovered for the role while strumming his ‘ukulele outside a public library.
