In an effort to stay safe and healthy, Ai- leen tries to minimize how often she leaves her home. The O‘ahu senior lives on her own, happily enjoying the self-sufficiency that comes from maintaining her rou- tine. As Lanakila Meals on Wheels commemorates its 50th anniversary, our hearts are filled with gratitude for ev- eryone’s unwavering support, especially over the past 18 months. It has been an honor to serve and we look forward to the next 50 years!
