Part-time Neuroradiologist
Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii seeks the services of a part- time personal service contract Neuroradiologist to provide services in the areas of computerized Tomography, Skeletal Radiology, Magnetic Resonance (MRI), plain film radiology and other radiology services. The contract duration will include a one-year base period (1 October 2021 – 30 September 2022), plus four one-year option periods, and the FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend.
QUALIFICATIONS: (1) The contract physician shall be a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathy (DO) who is board certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). Completed two (2) years of fellowship in neuroradiology and have or be eligible to take the Certificate of Additional Qualifications (CAQ) in Neuroradiology; and (2) The contract physician shall have and maintain a valid unrestricted medical license in one of the 50 states of the United States, and/or the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands. The contract physician shall be a licensed, practicing physician in good standing and meet all licensing/certification requirements to perform as a Neuroradiologist.
EXPERIENCE: (1) The contract physician shall possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to provide Radiology services as a Neuroradiologist; (2) The contract physician shall have ten (10) years of current active experience working with Radiology Picture Archiving Communication Systems (PACS); (3) The contract physician shall have recent (within the last 12 months) experience in image guided percutaneous procedures; (4) The contract physician shall have recent experience teaching residents in a Graduate Medical Education Residency Program; (5) The contract physician shall have ten (10) years of current active experience practicing as a Neuroradiologist prior to the commencement of services under this contract; (6) The contract physician shall have and maintain, at own expense, current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advance Cardiac Life support (ACLS). All certifications must be through an American Heart Association approved training program. No on-line courses will be accepted; and (7) The contract physician shall have ten (10) years of current active experience in Neuroradiology to include MRI, CT, myelography, cisternography, biopsies, diagnostic angiography, neuroangiography and interventional neuroradiology treatments.
