Place the ironing paper over the bead design on the pegboard.
Set the iron at a medium heat (no steam). Note: Individual irons may heat differently. You can do a test with a few beads on a pegboard and see how they fuse. Remember that the design size also determines the ironing time.

Follow the perler bead instructions to fuse the beads together. Place the iron onto the paper and iron in a circular motion over the beads for about 10-20 sec- onds. Avoid pressing down too hard on the beads. The fused beads still should have a small hole in the center. Allow to cool.

Remove the fused beads from the pegboard. Flip the design over and place the ironing paper on top. Iron this side of the design the same way. To prevent warping, place a heavy object like a book on top while the design cools.

You can use your finished design in many ways. Glue a magnet or pin- back to the design but be careful that the glue doesn’t seep through the holes to the front of the design. Or, add a clip or keychain.
