Matthew Gonser has been appointed to director of the City & County of Honolulu’s Office of Climate Change, Sustainability and Resiliency by Mayor Rick Blangiardi. He also serves as the city’s chief resilience officer. Gonser holds a bachelor’s degree in natural resources, as well as master’s degrees in regional planning and landscape architecture from Cornell University.
Elizabeth Holland has been named director of James Campbell Co. LLC’s board of directors. Holland is the CEO and general counsel of Abell Associates, a 75-year-old private real estate company founded by her family. She is responsible for overseeing all business and legal matters, including development, financing, leasing, capital and construction projects, and investor and tenant relations.
Roger McKeague is president and CEO of ‘Ōlelo Community Media. He will lead the nonprofit’s efforts to expand and broaden quality services, programs, initiatives and innovative media. Previously, he was executive director of the Hawai‘i State Charter School Commission Administrative Office. McKeague has a Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College.

Nicola Hedge has been appointed deputy director of the City & County of Honolulu’s Office of Climate Change, Sustainability and Resiliency by Mayor Rick Blangiardi. She is also the city’s deputy chief resilience officer. Hedge earned a bachelor’s degree in international business from Hawai‘i Pacific University and a master’s in Pacific and international affairs from University of California, San Diego.
Dan Nagami is vice president of Maryknoll School. He previously served as director of external affairs. Nagami will oversee academic matters for all grades, as well as continue to lead the school’s marketing, communications and public relations efforts. Prior to joining the school in 2000, Nagami was an educator with the state Department of Education for more than 10 years.
Jamie Choi is director of sales and marketing at The Laylow, Autograph Collection. She will oversee planning and implementation of sales strategies to maximize hotel revenue and occupancy at the hotel. Previously, Choi was regional sales manager and director of sales and marketing at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Alana – Waikīkī Beach, Embassy Suites by Hilton Waikiki Beach Walk and Hilton Waikīkī Beach Hotel.
