         BFood Truck Chef Keeps On Rolling

usiness is booming in Las Vegas, and that can only mean Kaua‘i
 native Chris Robyn is back in the kitchen. He’s worked at the Ninth Island’s Therapy Restaurant — where he craft- ed his signature dish, the Se- nor Shorty — as well as other establishments in New Mexico and Nevada. His latest kitch- en is unlike any of the others, though, as this most recent venture is on wheels.
Robyn is now chef of The Fried Bird food truck (owned by Alika Man), where he’s known as “da bird chef.” On this mobile eatery, Robyn whips up next-level fried chicken and specialty “sam- miches,” including the sig- nature Fried Bird Bomb Mi. Like the location, the menu changes with specials added regularly, so be sure to follow The Fried Bird on Instagram (@thefriedbird) and keep up.
While we’re on the subject of food, Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace reopens May 20. It’s been closed since last March, but it’s been making the most of the time with a $2.4 million remodel. The 25,000-square-foot buffet, the largest in Vegas, will fea- ture 30 new dishes, including seafood boil bags, Japanese wagyu hotdogs and even dim sum carts.
Cosmopolitan, and one of our favorites, comedian and ac- tor Dave Chappelle, will be making us laugh at his July 2 performance at MGM Grand. Like many, this will be our first large post-pandemic event, and we can’t wait!
