The visually immersive drama The Crow hit theaters 27 years ago this week and starred Brandon Lee (son of Bruce Lee), whose life was tragically cut short at age 28 after an on- set accident. Following Lee’s death, the neo-noir flick became a cult classic, in part because of the memorable lines delivered. In one scene, a vengeful Lee exits a pawnshop, turns to its owner, played by actor Jon Polito, and issues what fiery warning to him?

Thank heavens for Ruth Graves Wakefield, the person responsible for creating one of the most edible concoctions: the chocolate chip cookie. What better way to celebrate all that’s sweet in life than to bake up a batch of Grandma’s favorite recipe and share it with those you love.
