Kapunahele Montgomery has been named vice president of patient care, cardiac services at The Queen’s Health Systems. In this new role, he will be responsible for developing and implementing business and strategic plans for both inpatient and outpatient cardiac services and programs. Montgomery previously served as director of cardiovascular services.
Kelika Ishol has been appointed to executive director of Lunalilo Home. In this new role, she will ensure improved efficiencies and operational enhancements of the facility, and will progress the sellout of available residences, while furthering the company’s mission of serving kūpuna with care. Ishol is a Hawai‘i Pacific University alumna.
Calvin Yamasaki has been promoted to chief financial officer of Tanaka of Tokyo Restaurants. He will also continue to act as the company’s administrative vice president and work with the president in regard to financial strategy and implementation. He assisted in strategic planning during the pandemic, leading to reopening all of the restaurant’s locations.

Lori Yoshioka is vice president and chief human resources officer of REHAB Hospital of the Pacific. She will be responsible for all human resource functions, including strategic and talent management, employee and labor relations, compensation and benefits, employee health and wellness, and HR records and information management.
Dan Shiu has been named to the Forbes/SHOOK Research Best-In-State Wealth Advisors list. He is a senior vice president-wealth management, branch manager at UBS Wealth Management’s Honolulu office, where he specializes in retirement planning for individuals and small business owners. He also supervises the daily operations of the branch.
Madeleine Noa has been appointed general manager at Gourmet Events Hawai‘i. Noa will provide guidance and leadership. Most recently, she was senior sales manager of Roberts Hawai‘i, where she oversaw both the concierge sales desks and all reservations agents. Noa brings more than 20 years of sales and management experience to her new role.
