Friday, April 9, is Unicorn Day! unicorn’s horn.
These magical creatures delight people of all ages, and I have the perfect project to help you share that wonderful spirit: a unicorn jar.
Have fun making unicorns all year long and share them with family and friends to brighten their day.
I used a plastic jar, but you can adjust

1. Take white Hearty clay and shape into a cone
about 3 1/2 or 4 inches tall with about a 1 1/2-inch base for the unicorn horn.
3. Make two 1-inch balls from the
Hearty clay. Take each ball and press into a leaf/pod shape for the ears. Let dry.
2. You can use the cone for the horn as is, or create a spiral texture on the horn by holding the ends of the cone
in each hand (the tip side in the right hand). Slowly twist the cone with your right hand while slightly pushing the cone down, creating the spiral. Let dry.
4. When the ears and horn are dry, brush on a coat of clear varnish. Sprinkle the extra-fine crystal glitter on
the varnish. Shake off excess. Let dry.
