Christina Hause has been named chairwoman of Boys & Girls Club of Hawai‘i. She also works for Kaiser Permanente. In this role, Hause will serve a two-year term, and will advocate for and support the youth and families that BGCH serves; build resources, which sustain and advance the mission of the nonprofit; and provide oversight and governance.
Jeff Perkins has been appointed general manager of Shoreline Hotel Waikīkī. He will focus on establishing the brand and the market position, as well as mentoring the hotel’s team in quality service. Perkins brings more than 25 years of leadership experience to the role. Previously, he worked at Queen Kapi‘olani Hotel, The Kāhala Hotel & Resort and Turtle Bay Resort.
Shane Pope is director of sales at Zephyr Insurance Co. Inc. In his new role, Pope will be responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s sales strategy to achieve sales and revenue objectives, including new business growth and retention. Most recently, he worked for GEICO Hawai‘i.

Christen Sakamoto is marketing manager with Atlas Insurance Agency Inc. Sakamoto will lead the agency’s marketing and event marketing projects. She will be responsible for planning and implementing the marketing plan, advertising strategy, public communications, social media, website and public relations program. She holds a bachelor’s degree in speech communications.
Bobbie Favela has been named vice president of condominium administration with Aqua-Aston Hospitality. Favela is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the condominium administration department. She brings 27 years of experience in local real estate to the position. Previously, Favela was director of management services for Associa Hawai‘i.
Derek Lau is president of Hawai‘i REALTORS. He currently serves as president and principal broker at Real Estate Specialists. Lau graduated from University of Oregon with a degree in computer and information sciences. Lau brings nearly two decades of full-time experience in the real estate industry to this new role.
