Now That’s Entertainment!
FEBRUARY 24, 2021 MIDWEEK 9
The world’s first pur- pose-built experi- ential entertainment complex, AREA15, is a must- see destination in Las Vegas. This amazing and immer- sive complex has welcomed several new experiences, including roller skating rink ElectroRoll, Emporium, vir- tual reality-based Oz Experi- ence, Five Iron Golf, Dueling Axes, immersive art installa- tions at Museum Fiasco and Wink World, and restaurant The Beast by Todd English. In addition to these unique experiences that fit right into the Entertainment Capital of the World, is the long-awaited Omega Mart.
Museum Fiasco is an au- diovisual installation that
lasts approximately 12 min- utes. Upon entering, it appears like an empty warehouse, and is kind of spooky when it gets dark. However, once the synchronized lights and music begin, it is truly a sen- sory-stimulating experience.

mind-blowing experiences, we had the opportunity to grab a bite at The Beast by Todd English and meet the celebrity chef himself. We were quick to see where The Beast got its name, as guests can enjoy a variety of dishes while dining
in the fiery walls set inside the stomach of a dragon.

Wink World, created by Chris Wink, co-founder and chief creative officer of Blue Man Group, is described as “psychedelic art house meets carnival funhouse.” Six mir- rored rooms that combine light, color, sound and mo- tion provide quite the trippy experience.
Omega Mart opened Feb. 18, but we were able to get a sneak peek prior to this. Cre- ated by the brilliant minds of Santa Fe-based company Meow Wolf, Omega Mart is a one-of-a-kind supermar- ket-themed art installation experience. It’s part super- market with items you defi- nitely won’t find at traditional stores, mixed with immersive art installations, music and entertainment. Omega Mart is a collaboration of 50 visu- al artists.
