Debbie Kim Morikawa is president of Hawai‘i Pacific Gerontological Society. She is responsible for the administration of the business of HPGS. Morikawa presides at monthly board meetings and quarterly general membership meetings, and also works closely with all committee chairs, the treasurer and executive director. Morikawa is the owner of GYMGUYZ Urban Honolulu.
Cheyne Yonemori has been named an associate with Damon Key Leong Kupchak Hastert. He will work in the business and commercial law, trusts and estates, condominium and community association law, and insurance coverage litigation practice groups. Yonemori earned his Juris Doctor degree from University of Hawai‘i William S. Richardson School of Law.
Shannon Jaquess is director, systems safety engineer and quality improvement with The Queen’s Health Systems. In this new role, she will direct, administer and manage the functions, activities and services provided to medical staff organizations at health care facilities throughout QHS. Previously, Jaquess served as director of quality and safety engineering at Mission Health in Asheville, North Carolina.

Milo Spindt is a property management broker-in- charge with Elite Pacific. He will be involved in the property management division, which includes over 400 long-term rentals and 400 short-term vacation rentals statewide. In his new position, Spindt will be overseeing the division’s risk management strategy. He brings more than 20 years of real estate background to the role.
Warren Lau has been named an associate with Mason Architects Inc. He is the project manager for key renovation projects, focused recently on several plans for Kamehameha Schools. Lau is responsible for coordinating all project efforts, which includes ensuring effective execution, preparing strategic plans and serving as the primary client liaison. Lau first joined the firm in 1987.
Jeff Marcello is director of operations at Popeyes Hawai‘i. In his new role, Marcello will improve processes and customer experience at the franchise’s six O‘ahu locations. Previously, he served as general manager of Pomaika‘i Ballrooms, director of food and beverage at Hawai‘i Prince Hotel Waikīkī & Golf Club and general manager of catering operations at Ko‘olau Golf Club.
